Flaps
fold over the quick release buckles to shut out water. Velcro closures provide
a quick and easy seal. The area around the iakos is double reinforced and webbing
straps are sewn on in a diagonally overlapping pattern to distribute the load.
"Ears" are tailored to fit snugly around iakos (not pictured).
