Concealed
quick release nylon buckles provide a simple and secure way to tension the canvas.
Six nylon webbing straps are provided at each iako to ensure even tensioning.
One strap and buckle are located under iako out of view. Flaps with Velcro closures
shut out water and cover the buckles. The area around the iakos is double reinforced
and webbing straps are sewn on in a diagonally overlapping pattern to distribute
the load. "Ears" are tailored to fit snugly around iakos (not pictured).
